The Michigan Supreme Court has been busy, amending both the Michigan Rules of Civil Procedure and the Michigan Rules of Criminal Procedure. We have new iPhone apps in the pipeline that include these amendments.

Apple's introduction of the iPad - and the dual programming now required for universal apps - slowed down our free upgrade to the Texas Child Support Calculator. However, it's now online at the iTunes store. If you have the 2010 version of the Texas Child Support Calculator, you can upgrade your app for free. You will find that the new iPad interface has much better resolution than the old version, which was simply an expanded view of the iPhone interface.

While sitting here finishing coding of the forthcoming Texas Family Code app I am listening to the "This Week in Android" podcast from iTunes. The talk today is about Palm and the possibility that it will be acquired by Google. One of the show hosts (Ashley Esqueda) explained one reason Palm is in trouble: "I'm sorry, but the Palm pre is a girl phone."
