Announcing the 2012 update to our Texas Child Support Calculator - called CS Calc for short - the iPad/iPhone app that calculates Texas guideline child support. Now available from the iTunes Store.

Input five variables:

  • Whether self employed
  • Gross income (annually, monthly, twice per month, every other week or weekly)
  • Number of children before court
  • Cost of health insurance for children
  • Number of other children supporting
Click Calculate, and CS Calc will return Texas guideline child support, payable monthly, twice per month, every other week and weekly.

The 2012 update incorporates the temporary extension of the changes in the amount of withholding made by the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010, Public Law No. 111–312 (Dec. 17, 2010). If Congress fails to extend those changes or the rest of 2012, CS Calc will be updated at no additional charge.
